The concert at 4pm, Rhapsody in Jazz, features the Ted Rosenthal Trio, a New York based group headed by internationally acclaimed pianist and composer Ted Rosenthal. A master of both jazz standards and large-scale works, he adds a composer's sensibility and an educator’s understanding to the soul of a great pianist.

The large art exhibit that is simultaneously taking place in the beautiful Chapel of La Merced was curated by FAN member Dr. Carol Damian and Dr. Adriana Herrera who have sourced works by twenty contemporary artists. The theme is Epiphany in Art Today. The works of the artists express the artists’ often unrecognized spiritual interests. Dr. Damian and Dr. Herrera are available at 3pm in La Merced Chapel to discuss this exhibit.

PARKING

The main parking lot is west of the main church. It can be entered directly from NW 7th Avenue, through the driveway located between the main church and the Jehovah’s Witness building at the northeast corner of the block. Walkways and ramps extend from the parking lot to both Corpus Christi Church and La Merced Chapel.

Following the concert, FAN members are invited to gather over dinner at 6:30 at the Mexican restaurant Bakan in Wynwood, 2801 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127.
