For its epic 10th anniversary, Nu Deco will offer a program of favorites and cutting-edge new music, including a world-premiere commission from celebrated musician and singer-songwriter PJ Morton, who solidified his position at the forefront of contemporary soul and R&B music and founded Morton Records to elevate the brightest soul and R&B talent. The evening will also include: a new composition created in collaboration with the extraordinary singer-songwriter Kishi Bashi; a performance of selections from Leonard Bernstein’s searing and emotional West Side Story; and a “best of Nu Deco” suite.
