Hiromi Moneyhun: Floating Worlds showcases the intricate paper-cut art of Hiromi Moneyhun, a self-taught Japanese artist whose works blend traditional Japanese art forms, folklore, and contemporary culture. Her compositions, often depicting transformative female figures, explore themes of empowerment, self-identity, and environmental decay.

With its delicate, detailed cuts, Moneyhun's work carries literary and narrative depth, addressing complex cultural stories and themes of transformation, struggle, and defiance of societal norms. In her Emergence series, the figures manifest from iconic Japanese architectural landmarks, such as shrines, towers and castles, intertwining themes of personal metamorphosis with strong cultural heritage.
